1. Eligibility

Users must be 18 years of age or older to use CheckForPlag. By using our services, you confirm that you are legally eligible to enter into this agreement and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Services Description

CheckForPlag provides plagiarism and AI detection services using advanced technology and real-time web coverage. The service assists researchers, educators, institutions, and organizations in identifying similarity and maintaining originality. Plagiarism reports are provided for informational and reference purposes only.

3. User Accounts

To access our services, users must create an account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities carried out through their account. CheckForPlag shall not be responsible for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

4. Free Trial & Subscription

CheckForPlag offers a free trial exclusively at the institutional level, subject to eligibility and approval by CheckForPlag.

Individual users are not eligible for any free trial.

Subscription plans, features, and pricing may be updated or modified at any time at the sole discretion of CheckForPlag.

5. Payments & Refund Policy

CheckForPlag offers a free trial and demo only for institutes and organizations to explore the software before purchase. Individual users are not eligible for any free trial or demo and can access the service through paid plans.

6. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful, unethical, or unauthorized purpose
• Upload content without having proper ownership or permission
• Attempt to hack, damage, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
• Engage in abusive, misleading, or fraudulent activities

Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

7. Content Privacy & Data Protection

CheckForPlag respects user privacy and applies reasonable security measures to protect uploaded content. Uploaded documents are not sold or publicly shared. However, users acknowledge that no digital system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software, algorithms, trademarks, logos, text, and technology used on the CheckForPlag platform are the exclusive intellectual property of CheckForPlag. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

CheckForPlag reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any individual or institutional account, with or without prior notice, if:

• The user, individual, or institution violates our Privacy Policy
• Any misuse, unauthorized access, or harmful activity is detected
• These Terms of Services are breached

Upon termination, access to the platform and associated services may be revoked immediately without any compensation or refund.

10. Limitation of Liability

CheckForPlag shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, research outcomes, academic decisions, or profits. Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.

Your use of CheckForPlag is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal and institutional information.

13. Changes to Terms

CheckForPlag reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Services at any time. Continued use of the software or services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
